How to get to the School of Natural Sciences
Situated 23 kilometres from the heart of Perth, the School of Natural Sciences is housed in Building 19 on the Joondalup Campus of Edith Cowan University. It is a comfortable 20-minute journey by Train or a 25-minute drive north along Mitchell Freeway by Car.
Parking
Parking is available on a short-term basis in designated visitor parking bays. Longer term parking for students and staff can be arranged through campus administration in building 6 on Joondalup Campus or visit the website at http://www.ecu.edu.au/fas/parking/. Official visitors to the School of Natural Sciences are entitled to Temporary Parking Permits. Please contact the Natural Sciences office on (08) 6304 5726 or email sons@ecu.edu.au prior to your visit, to either arrange a parking permit or for general parking advice.
Public Transport
The nearest train and bus station to the School of Natural Sciences is the Joondalup Station, a 10-minute walk. TRANSPERTH offers both Bus and Train services to Joondalup Station. The station is situated on the south-eastern edge of the Lakeside shopping centre. There is a free CAT bus service leaving every 15 minutes, 8am to 6pm weekdays, from the Joondalup Bus Transfer. The CAT bus route runs in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions around the Joondalup CBD. It passes by the rear of Building 19 on its way through ECU Joondalup and also passes by the W.A. Police Academy, the Joondalup Health Campus and the City of Joondalup Library.
